    3. Dear Folks, Around here in Western New York, we all know what day tomorrow is. It's Dyngus Day, the Monday after Easter. Even though I grew up in Niagara Falls I hadn't heard of the tradition of Dyngus Day until I came back here in 1974. It sounded like fun. It's a Polish tradition that dates way back BC and I knew that the celebration had something to do with using switches of pussy willow branches against girls' legs. However, when I read today's morning paper I learned about the tradition and also the places where Dyngus Day will be celebrated tomorrow all over Western NY including Niagara Falls. Check it out at http://www.dyngusdaybuffalo.com/pages/2/index.htm. We have a large Polish population here and tomorrow will be their special day. I'd love to join in and dance the polka with the best of them, wouldn't you? Nazdrowie! (Cheers!) vee
