    3. Vee, I just love your posts!!!! I'm sure you'll rot in HELL, the capital letter one, not the small letter one, for being such a prideful Lutheran. At least that's what Garrison Keillor leads me to believe, and he's all I really know of Lutherans. I was in school just a bit later than you, being born in 1942, but I well remember the only snowsuits I ever owned. They were made by my Gram from men's overcoats she bought second hand at rummage sales. I also had skirts made from flowered grain sacks. Wish I had them back. We didn't have many new things but what we had were of good, sturdy quality so Gram always bought me Kate Greenaway dresses. I still have at least one of them. I was never fashion conscious and had no idea of colours that went together and whatever. I'm so glad it doesn't matter much anymore and I can wear my plaids and stripes together and be right in style. I just don't want any of those Janet Jackson, easy tear shirts.
