Dear Folks, This evening while I was working in the kitchen I heard a familiar song that I had always treasured. It was "Blue Bird of Happiness" and was sung by the marvelous tenor Jan Peerce in 1948. It was so wonderful to hear him sing the lyrics and also so grand to hear him narrate some of the words. The lyrics and music were so personally inspirational to many of us in those days.
