Dear Folks, Several years ago I decided I needed a front porch to enhance the front of my house. It also had to do with providing a hand rail up to the front door and to provide cover from the elements over my door. The contractor built the porch but in the end, I didn't know what to do with it. Because my house had originally been built so close to the road (the road had eventually been widened), the porch had to be small. So small that it would accommodate maybe only a lawn chair and a small table. Well, now that I realize that I'd like to smell some fresh air, I've considered setting up a sufficiently padded comfortable chair, a foot stool, with a table alongside it and enjoy reading my murder mysteries outside. But I doubt that there's enough room for even that. I guess it's a dream that won't come true. Nonetheless, I can picture me lounging in my chair, my feet propped up, reading my book and with the front door open, still being able to listen to my classical music. Now isn't that a nice dream? vee
