Dear Folks, Now that I'm back home and responded to as many emails that I could, I had the urge to get back to putting my book in order. And that's what I've been spending hours on. In the first place I knew that I had only about ten or so more stories to add to the book and I finished those up in a hurry. But I couldn't stop just there. I had separated the long documents into three "books" and tonight I couldn't help but paste them all together into one HUGE document, over 600 pages. Even then, I couldn't stop and I just had to glance over the whole lot to make certain that all of the stories were in the same 12 point font. I was doing pretty good with that until I began to realize that I was editing the same stories over and over again! Good grief! It's obvious that I had pasted chapters/books more than once. It's now close to 2:00 a.m. and I've gone through only page 515 out of 600. I know that I have to stop right here and now, take up where I left off and then go back through the entire book to eliminate the duplicate stories. I'm certain that you can appreciate how dedicated I've been trying to put my book together but I'm certainly surprised that I could have goofed up so badly. It won't be easy to figure out what stories are duplicates but that doesn't mean that I won't start over again to find them and eliminate them. And to think that I'm still a bit fuzzy minded tonight and yet be able to actually catch such awful mistakes. Frankly, I'm a bit depressed that I haven't been perfect in putting my book in order but I can still handle it all and if the book doesn't turn out perfect, well that's the way it goes. I've been doing my best. vee
