My great-great grandfather, Daniel Dixon, was born in Niagara County in 1825. He may have had a sister named Mary. I don't have information on his parents other than his father was born in Indiana and his mother in New York. While Daniel was a small boy, the family moved to Ontario Canada. He married Elizabeth Carr/Kerr from Ireland in 1845 in the Gore District. In 1859-60 Daniel and his family moved to Shawano County WI where they lived until 1878. They ventured out to Oregon and lived the remainder of their lives in Columbia County. Any information about Daniel's parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
