If it's the same one, she's my grandmother; my dad was Myron Sprague. Anyway, my grandfather's profession is listed as a blacksmith, but he also worked as a smelter at Anaconda Copper, so apparently blacksmith could be a designator for people who work with metals in other ways, too?
