If she died in Buffalo in 1905, the certificate should be available and may show the names of her parents. I am researching her sister, Adelia (Seeley) Dalrymple, but don't think NY will give me the record of Mary Shotwell unless I am a direct descendant. The fee is $10 for the certificate. You must enclose your relationship to the deceased, a SASE, and a copy of a picture ID.
