For your records, I found the following census records for Mary M. Shotwell and Mary M. Sheldon, I'm sure they are your ancestor. 1860 Nicollet Co, MN, Courtland township image 4 of 8. 1870 Erie Co, NY, Boston township image 35 of 42. 1880 Erie Co, NY, Boston township image 7 of 34. ED 80, page 7. The 1870 and 1880 census shows her married to Asa Sheldon. If you have trouble locating them, let me know and I will email them to you as attachments if you wish.
