All spellings are as they were written. It looks like Sophia was married to Casmer Harder as they are listed in the 1860 census. She is listed as Josephene. They have 2 children listed. Catherine age 4 and Jasper age 2. I have a note that Casmer died in the Civil War but I don't have him as being buried in Royalton. I have no idea where he is buried. Sophia did file to collect on his pension in 1864. >From the 1865 census: Sophia Harder age 36 widow Katharine Harder age 9 Joseph Harder age 7 Christina Harder age 5 Mary Harder age 3 >From the 1870 census: George Kettleman age 25 Sophia Kettleman age 42 Joseph Harder age 12 Christina Harder age 10 Mary Harder age 7 Charlotte Kettleman age 3 Sophia Kettleman age 9 months I don't see them in Royalton in 1875.
