It was in the March 30, 1960 edition. Mr. and Mrs. G. Paschall Swift, Buffalo, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Nanette Paschall Swift, to William James Williamson Jr., son of William James Williamson, Vanderbilt Ave., and the late Julia Clark Williamson. Miss Swift is a graduate of Buffalo Seminary and attended C o l b y Junior College, New London, N.H. She spent last winter studying in Florence, Italy, and is now residing in New York City. The bride-to-be is t he granddaughter of Mrs. Parton Swift. Buffalo, and the late Justice Swift of the New York State Supreme Court. Her maternal grandmother is Mrs. James W. Wheeler, Boston, Mass. She is a l s o a descendant of Judge Augustus Porter, one of the first settlers of Niagara Falls. Mr. Williamson is t h» grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John T. Williamson of this city, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J a m e s T. Clark Jr., N e w a r k and Spring Lake, N. J. Mr. W i l l i a m s o n is an alumnus of Bishop Duffy High School and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa. He is a member of Delta Psi fraternity and the St. Anthony Club, New York City. He is associated with the Marine Trust Co. of Western New York. A September wedding is planned.
