NY Wills Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/NY/NiagaraWill/33 Surname: McNALL, ROBINSON ------------------------- Niagara Co., NY wills Royalton 28-205 probated 8/30/1884 The Last will and testament of John McNall of the Town of Royalton, Niagara County. I, John McNall aged eighty two years being of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous of making such disposition of my property as shall be just and equitable do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in the manner and form following. First: I will and direct that all the just debts I may be owing at the time of my decease including the expenses of my last sickness and funeral shall be paid in preference to any devise or bequest here in contained. Second: i give devise and bequeath unto my wife Lucy C. McNall her heirs and assigns absolutely and forever the horse harness and buggy kept for my own private use prior to and at the time of my decease. Also give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Lucy and to her heirs and assigns absolutely and for ever the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars in money annually during the term of her natural life provided she remains unmarried but if she marries then for and during such time as she remains unmarried to be paid to her out of my estate in equal semi annual payments. The provision herein made for my said wife Lucy are hereby declared to be in lieu of her dower interest in all the real estate of which I may die seized. Third: I give devise and bequeath unto my grandchild Lura McNall only child of my son Uriah McNall deceased and to her heirs and assigns forever the sum of five hundred dollars. Fourth: I give devise and bequeath unto my son Noah McNall and to his heirs and assigns absolutely and forever the sum of five hundred dollars. Fifth: I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Rosaline Cordelia and to her heirs and assigns absolutely and forever my portrait. Sixth: I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Emeline S. Robinson now the wife of Edward D. Robinson and to her heirs and assigns forever the portrait of her mother. Seventh: I give devise and bequeath unto my son John Q. A. McNall and to his heirs and assigns absolutely and forever the ___________large family Bible. Eighth: I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Lucy McNall and to her heirs assigns absolutely and forever the Brussels Carpet now on the floor of the parlor also my Mahogany bedstead and the springs belonging to and used with said bedstead. I deemed it advisable to will the large family Bible containing the family record to my eldest son for that purpose of keeping the record in my family and for this reason I did not will it to my wife but in lieu of the Bible I willed to my wife the Mahogany bedstead which is of more value than that Bible. Ninth: I will and direct that the said legacy of two hundred and fifty dollars a year to my wife Lucy C. be a lien on that part of my farm lying north of the Niagara Road and hereby declare that the said legacy is a lien on that part of my farm lying north of the Niagara Road. Tenth: i give devise and bequeath unto my children Rosaline Cordelia, John Quincy Adams, James Henry, Emeline S. now the wife of Edward D. Robinson, Watson Clark, and Benjamin Franklin and to their heirs and assigns absolutely and forever all that part of my farm lying north of the Niagara Road supposed to contain one hundred and ten acres also that part lying south of the Niagara Road supposed to contain thirty acres. Also the equal one half in common and undivided of twenty six and a half acres of land lying in the south part of the town of Royalton which is owned by me and Jeremiah Mitchell, all of which is to be divided equally between them share and share alike. Eleventh: I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Lucy C. McNall and Rosaline Cordelia McNall and to their heirs and assigns absolutely and forever all the personal property together with the household goods to be divided equally between them share and share alike. Twelfth: I hereby appoint John Q. McNall to be administrator of my estate. Thirteenth: I hereby revoke annul and make void all former wills by me made. Fourteenth: In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 19th day of February 1884. John McNall The foregoing instrument containing nearly one and a half sheets was on the day of the date thereof subscribed by John McNall the testator in our presence and in the presence of each of us and he at that same time declared it to be his last will and testament and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names hereto as witnesses.
