Ernest had a brother Charlie, I believe, who moved to California. His father ran a grocery store on East Union St. in Lockport, NY. Ernest had a son Alden (b. 1923, my father) and a daughter Velma (now deceased). Know very little about his father, except that he ran the grocery and, as a widower, married the sister of his late wife. He was born in 1901 in Lockport.
