Dear Judy AND Carol, Wow, what a list of 1922 graduates! I can only assume that the Harry Abate that graduated that year is the Harry F. Abate that the elementary school in Niagara Falls is named after. And the Willard Belden that also graduated that year is Willard, Sr., the father of my classmate Willard, Jr. (Binx) Belden. They're the Beldens of Belden Real Estate and Binx is also a now-retired attorney. Regarding Hertha Kinghorn of Youngstown, I know that I have old newspaper articles regarding her engagement and marriage. Her father was a blacksmith. Ransom Rice was the father of my classmate Ransom/Randy Rice. BTW, Binxie Belden married Randy's sister!! In looking over all the surnames of those graduates of 1922, I spotted so many family names that still live on in this area. Thanks to both Judy and Carol for putting that list on line--AND thanks for those BEAUTIFUL old pictures of Niagara Falls High School. They're an absolute treasure! The beautiful building still stands but we're afraid it will be torn down in the near future. If it's demolished, it will be an absolute sin. vee ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judith Baillargeon" <jabaill@qwest.net> To: <NYNIAGAR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 07, 2001 4:46 PM Subject: Niagara Falls High School > Hi, > I recently put a list of graduates from Niagara Falls High School > (1922,1923,1924,1925,1926) on my Genealogy Web Page.
