Chris, and all, You haven't lived until you have had Beef on Weck... A favorite in Western New York! Lusious hot roast beef, sliced thin and piled high on a kummelweck roll. "weck" roll, that being a a hard roll, that has pretzel salt and caraway seeds on top. A different taste to be sure. Vee will surely know the origin of the sandwich. It is not yet 9 am here in Western New York and now my mouth waters for a good beef on weck.
