I will be in Buffalo next week for a few days and I am considering a side trip to Niagara County to do genealogical research. I am looking for information on people who lived in Lewiston, NY circa 1835 to the 1950s. I have visited the Lewiston local history on prior trips. Are there any other places I should visit? Where would I go to get birth, death, and marriage records from the Lewiston area circa 1880 to the 1950s? Thanks! David Cornell

Fourth St. (phone 754-8271) or the Town of Lewiston Town Hall at 1375 Ridge Rd.(754-8213). Let me know what families you're researching and I might be able to help you further. vee
