    3. Dear Amy, I was waiting for someone else to jump in and let you know that the aircraft factory where she worked was most probably Bell Aircraft Company. In the WWII years they--men and WOMEN--worked around the clock pumping out Airacobra fighting planes. And I know from PERSONAL experience that during the Blizzard of 1977 around here, the plant was still there--known then as Bell Airospace. I also know that the building is still there but somewhere down the line the company has disappeared. Now whether the employee records were kept by the company or whether they were turned over to the History Dept. of the Niagara Falls Library, or just destroyed, I just don't know. Regarding a SSN, I'm certain that any employee records would have included it. I guess I have to include this dismal end to my message. Although I haven't researched any of the above, I have the feeling that employee records were destroyed many years ago. WWII was over in 1945--55 years ago--and that glorious aircraft factory is no longer in existance. Nonetheless, I wish you good luck in your search for your family history.
