Dear Evelyn and All, Eleven dollars is the search fee mandated by the State of New York. The fee is not at the discretion of the different clerks. Also, the fees esculate per number of years that must be searched; i.e., 1-3 years is $11, 51-70 years is $81.00. A while back, I posted, on the list, all of the information and fees required.
