Dear Niagara Rooters: We have learned that John Epp resided in Niagara County, NY, circa mid-1880s. John is said to have been born between 1807 and 1815 (prob) in a Germanic area. He died 7 October 1884 at Lockport, Niagara County, NY, according to descendents. He (and his wife Catherine Rau(chen)) is also said to have sired no male descendents, thereby being the last member of his surname line to live in the County.
