    1. Info on Leonard/Meyers families of Olcott/Lockport
    2. Chris Leonard
    3. I was encouraged by Diana's post to see if anyone on the list ever heard of my connections in Niagara Co.! My father, Charles "Bill" Leonard (1908-53), was from an old Olcott family. He had a sister Betty who was a nurse, his father Grover Cleveland Leonard ran a grocery store with his brother Arthur Dewitt Leonard, Leonard Bros. (later called Leonard & Hamminga). Arthur had one daughter, Althea Leonard Halstead (Mrs. Elwood) who taught music. Grover and Arthur also had a sister Mina, who married Fred Miller of Buffalo and had a daughter, I believe her name was Helen; and a brother, Leon, who I believe worked in a garage and had a son William/Bill. Dad's mother's family were the Meyerses, they lived in Buffalo and I believe in Lockport. Irene Meyers was the daughter of Charles Meyers and Emma Jane Ball. The Meyerses were German. I believe Emma Ball had several brothers whom I was told ran a hotel either in Lockport or Olcott. If anyone has any info on these folks, please drop me a line! -- I am sailing to Athens...
