Anita, Here is what I have from the Oct 2, 1882 Lockport Daily Journal: Wm. J. Walker The above named gentleman, father of Wm. Walker of this city, died yesterday, October 1st., of heart disease, aged seventy years. He was born in England, and had lived in this country ten years. The funeral will occur at 2 P. M. tomorrow, from his son's house, on Mulberry Street. Interment at Cold Springs Cemetery. He is also listed in the 1880 Federal Census of Lockport with his wife Jane, his son Willam James Walker, and a daughter, Rhoda Walker. I am descended from another of his sons, William John Walker, who died in 1895. I had no problem finding the tombstone of William John Walker and his wife, and most of his siblings. Hope this helps.
