William Leslie was my ancester as well. He married Martha Gilbert in 1824, their daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Silvey whose daughter Elizabeth married my grt-grandfather Christopher Clarke. Just tracked down William Leslie's military record and that he was a Chelsea Pensioner.
