Harkness, husband of Elizabeth Ann (nee:Stewart) from Brockville, Ontario. James was born in England approx. 1851, married Elizabeth in Brockville October 15, 1878 (005516-78) and had about 8 kids. James, Elizabeth, and 6 of their kids are in the 1900 census for N. Tonawanda Ward 1, Niagara, New York. The 1910 census, same place, shows Elizabeth as a widow. James died between 1900 and 1910.
