The above is my Great Grandfather. He is Irish, but born in Scotland. He arrived in Buffalo, NY in 1887 (possibly a year or two earlier), and remained in Buffalo for most of his life. However he disappears in the years 1890, 1891, 1895, and 1896. His occupation was ships carpenter and family lore always said he worked on one of the Maids-of-the-Mist. It occurred to me that he might have lived in Niagara Falls in those years he was missing in Buffalo. At least one Maid was built on the American side. I was hoping some kind person could look in Niagara Falls Library collection of city directories to see if he is there for those years. I thank you in advance. Best regards, Jim
