    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: J_P_carey Surnames: Treacey, Tracy, Tracey, Carey Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.niagara/3138/mb.ashx Message Board Post: On the Niagara County, NY GenWeb Project site, a Maureen Seifert (moecow) has identified burials at the Town of Hartland St. Patrick's Cemetery. Martin (d. 29 Apr 1884) and Elizabeth (d. 16 Feb 1871) Treacey and two sons are listed. The census for Niagara County for 1865 (NY), 1870 (US), 1875 (NY) and 1880 (US) do not list anyone with the spelling Treacey. Could this be members of the Tracy (Tracey) family that immigrated through the Port of New York in May of 1863 (accompanied by 3 Carey grandsons). The census ('65-Somerset, '70-Gasport) list Martin and Eliza Tracy. In '75 (Somerset) she is not listed. In the 1880 census (Hartland) he is listed as Michael and living with his son-in-law and daughter Daniel and Bridget (Tracy) Carey. All help is appreciated.
