I am researching the family name Szaulis. My knowledge is extremely limited. My grandfather Frank (Franciszkai) Szaulis was born in Russo Poland in 1889. His wife Mary (Marya) maiden name Staneluki was also born in Russo Poland in 1889. They were married in Philadelphia. They immigrated to Canada sometime afterward and had one son Alexander John who was born in 1919 Edmonton, Alberta Canada. All died in Alberta, Canada. I found a Stanley and Lottie Szaulis in the 1930's US Federal census. They had three children; Stella (1911), Anna (1914) and Blanche (1918. Lottie Szaulis died in the 1970's in Niagara NY. In the 1920's US Federal census I found Lottie, Stanley, Frank and Mary Szaulis. All were cooks. I do not believe this Frank and Mary Szaulis were my grandparents because of the time line. If anyone has any further knowledge on this name or this family, I would appreciate hearing from you. I have limited funds available to research. Thank you.
