Hello My first question is if anyone might be able to look for a Joseph GORVETT on the 1860 NY federal census pg. 948 for Lockport, Niagra... My second is unrelated to Niagra but being as it is so closely related to Ontario, perhaps someone might have the answer. I have tried to located Ontario Canada census films thru LDS library but it seems to be spotty at best, only a few towns here and there (I have looked on the index on-line at the Canadian archives, and would like to borrow the filmed transcripts for more in-depth info). I know that lists exist for the areas in Ontario but if I subscribe to another my poor computer will get really crabby at me! Thanks for any input on these 2 questions! Betsy Rubel beharu@mediaone.net
