BARTON and Tryphosia KEMP lived in New Fane, Niagara County NY, where John Barton married Hannah Smith. She died about Aug. 3, 1865. They had children: Laura A. b. 1857, Catherine Tryphosia b. 1858, Jessie b. 1860, Oscar Orlando b. 1863, and Mary F. b. and d. 1865. John moved to Michigan and remarried soon, Mary Ette LARKIN. They lived in Homer, Calhoun County Michigan, where they had children Cora E. b. 1867, Jimmie b. and d. 1868, Sarah Belle, b. 1870 and Bertie, b and d. 1871. This family later removed to Stanton, Montcalm County, Michigan where John died in 1877. Seeking related families and ancestors of John Barton, and identification of his parents, and first wife.
