Dear Group -- From the book "Landmarks of Niagara Co., NY" I learned my gg-gfather Francis B. LANE was a founding trustee of the Middleport Methodist Church in 1827. The only Methodist Church I find listed today for Middleport is the United Methodist Church at 5 Park Ave. Does anyone know if these 2 churches are one & the same?
