I haven't been able to find out where but just got a clue that he may have lived in Niagara County, NY before moving to MI. If anyone has any clues to share, I would love to hear from you! I have been looking for Asa's father for quite some time now. I believe his father may also be named Asa. Asa (1798) moved to the Macomb County, MI area with his wife, Maria Fillmore, after 1835 and before 1838. Your help is much appreciated! Thanks! -- Mary E.
