Many local libraries subscribe to HertiageQuest.com. I am glad that you brought this subject up. I'm sure that the LDS Library would be willing to microfilm the New York vital records index. Charles B. Johnson was buried Nov. 26, 1915 in Oakwood Cemetery. I have looked at many of the on-line records & did not find him. Hmmm. His wife Emma must be buried there as well. I would like to have more info on her as I only have a birth year of 1862. They were both born in Sweden & I am trying to find where in Sweden they came from. I am hoping that it may state something on a cemetery record of where they were born or the names of their parents. I did find an obituary for Charles B.
