Thanks for the clues. we have located Margaret Roll on a 1910 US Census document. Here is what we have learned from the 1910 Census. As a child, Margaret and her family lived in Champlain, New York (we knew this part already, just supported what we knew). Her mother's name was "Vina Seymour" she was born in 1873. She was born some place in New York State (we are looking for more information on this). Her father was French Canadian. Vina married a man with the last name Raymond. He passed away, but we don't know when or how. (we are looking for more information on this) They had three children. Eva Raymond born in 1897 Margaret Raymond born in 1901 (She later married William F. Roll) Alford Raymond born in 1904 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. A Niagara Falls Gazette 1929 obituary for Theodore Schultz states his service was at "St. Luke's Lutheran Church, North Ridge" with the burial in "North Ridge Cemetery". I've been told that a St. Luke's church in Newfane merged with another church and is now know as Faith Lutheran. Could this be the same church ? Does anyone know anything about "St. Luke's Lutheran Church, North Ridge", it's records, or history ? Theodore Schultz was born Mar 1858 in Germany and married Hannah (Valshon?). Their son Theodore Carl Ludwig Schultz was born 15 Feb 1892 in Somerset and married Vinnie Alwina Sophia Scharlau 30 Dec 1914 according to the St. Peter's church book. I could find no other mention of Theodore Schultz Jr or Sr or their families in the St. Peter's church book. Hence my pursuit of St. Luke's church records. It is a great site. I was just researching the family of Donald CLOY and his relatives. I put in this to research the old "Niagara Falls Gazette" articles: "Cloy" AND "Schultz", and boolean search. You can do "Schultz" AND Niagara to find more, or the first and last names of someone, or whatever families or places you want to be connected.. Other newspapers come up if a similar name or place or in it. Just try and get the Niagara Gazette. There are hundreds of references to the CLOY family. What is hard is the fact that the wives were referred using the husband's first name. So if you are able to find a marriage announcement, or an obituary, it is almost impossible to know the wife's name or some man you might be researching. There are obits and marriage announcements for the CLOY and SCHULTZ families. I don't have my files up right now, but could get back to you about the family info I found out in relation to the CLOY family.
