The date of the crossing was April 22 1931 going to Niagara Falls New York. Could anyone find some information of what happened to this Louis Poulmarch by censuses or marriage record. In Calphurnia Abbott's 30 October, 1916 obituary, it states that Calphurnia was living with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Hart, when she died. Well just today, in the 1880 Erie County, NY Census, I found a Henry Hart, his wife, WINNIE, and sons, Joseph and Henry D. Now, do you think that Winnie was a nickname for Melissa? Sarah was the wife of William Dennison, so that rules her out as far as the nickname, Winnie, goes. I would love to contact family historians for all of the children of Calphurnia and Joseph Abbott, so that I can gather more family history. Thank you very much for helping me!!
