Hi Shelly, How nice of you to post of this picture......I am not related, just found it interesting and thought I could be of some help in locating the family. I thought of Surname Boards on Ancestry and GenForum, however there are none for Donnatin, there is a Donnato, Donnellon . I looked in the 1870 census and Franks parents are Frank and Regina Donnatin. Frank Sr. b. France, abt 1830, Regina, b. Wurttemberg, abt. 1832. Frank Jr., b. abt. 1853, NY, has 5 siblings, Annie, 15, Fred, 10, Kate, 8, Rose, 6, and Louis, 4. New York Ward 20 District 11 (2nd Enum), New York, New York, Post Office at 100 St 9 and 10 Ave. I was unable to locate Frank Sr. Regina or Frank Jr. in 1860 and I used first name only, where born and year. I found that Regina's maiden name is Haug. Which there are a Haug and Huage Surname Boards. I also found the one sibling Louis N. Donnatin, married Sarah A. McAllister, 4 Sep 1895, Manhattan, New York, New York. Her parents are John McAllister and Margans McKem. I hope this helps some....I am sure there are still Donnatin families living in NY. -- Regards, D.R.
