Hello, Would anyone know what municipal graveyards would have been in operation for 1945-1965? I am trying to find where a couple Catherine Cavanagh and James McKinney would have been buried. They were both living in Manahattan at the time of death. I believe Catherine was RC and James was Presbyterian. Thanks, Fiona. Fiona, If you mean City cemeteries, I do not think there were any at that time. There are numerous cemeteries that are not for any one religion if that is what you mean. You really should try to get a death certificate. Without information such as date of death or burial or plot information, cemeteries will not provide information. Elizabeth V.
