Good morning, can anyone tell me who the "Henderson Place Historic District" located at Henderson Place, on the East Side of Manhattan is named after? Or which Henderson used to own it? Or where I can find out? Thanks in advance for any help, Doug Henderson
OK all........Henderson Place ,was named after John C. Henderson, Developer and Builder, of 32 Victorian style houses (Built 1881-1882) . It is located at 86th Street and East End Avenue, New York, NY It was designated a landmark in 1969. If you google Henderson Place...it will pop up as first hit.....you can see photos and technical data.
