My ancestor Patrick John Kenny (Kenney) came to New York City from Ireland. He married Margaret Hobam and had a daughter Catherine Kenny (Kenney) on August 29, 1849, in Montreal, Canada. I was told that Patrick John Kenny (Kenney) was an officer in the US Army stationed at Blackwell Island, New York and is buried in Arlington Cemetery (Army).
