I know she was married to a Joseph Tumpeer (1898-1991). To the best of my knowledge they did not have any children. They must of been married in the early 1930's. They had a home in Chicago and New York. Ruth was the daughter of George Walter Bates and Ellen Maude James and was born in Detroit, Michigan.
