    1. [NYNEWYOR] WILLIAM HAY
    2. I would appreciate it if someone would please look up a WILLIAM HAY, born in NYC (I think) in 1859. The year I got from the 1880 census, but I'm not positive if that is correct. In the 1880 census it said he was a painter, so that is the correct person - now to find out when he was born and what his mother's name was at the time of his birth! I'm looking for this William who would be the son of JAMES WALKER HAY & JULIA O'CONNELL. So far, I have not made the attempt to find this particular male, but am hoping someone will come across him. An address might be Charleton St., or Hudson Street - His mother's maiden name should be O'Connell (but it could be HOLMES). If I'm confusing anyone - just imagine how I'm feeling. LOL I would so appreciate the help in finding the information for my William. Thank you, listers. Heidi ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. Hi Heidi- I found your William in 1870, he's 9 years old. Julia is just listed as Hay, so no clue as to her maiden name. :) Kate Iamhydee@aol.com wrote: I would appreciate it if someone would please look up a WILLIAM HAY, born in NYC (I think) in 1859.
