Hi, listers I sure wish someone could find my JULIA A. HOLMES O'CONNELL HAY. She was born sometime between 1840-1844 and probably in NYC. Her last marriage was to James Walker Hay (in the catholic church) in 1870 but she had children before that - so they were only baptized in the catholic church when she knew she was dying. I did find her marriage record from the catholic church, but she got married before that (I'd guess, and somewhere) 1870, and I'm down to trying to find out just exactly who SHE is and when was she born. Some of her records (info given by others) says she was born in Newark, NJ but I can't find anything there either. Lastly, she was living on Hudson St., NYC but early on I have an address of Laight St., NYC. Any ideas would be most helpful. Of course, if you know who she was that would be even better! Was she married to an "O'Donnell" before she married James? Thank you, Heidi

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. HI Heidi, This information makes it difficult, and you say she married in 1870 to James Hay. And the children before that, do you know any names, dates of birth and where? How sure are you she was born in New Jersey? There could be a possibility she married 1870 after the census and this maybe here.
