    3. I have what I could get from the church, names of those buried in the vault but no relationships. Have not determined religion. Only have a transcript from the NY County Clerk's records, names of bride and groom, date and 'married by Aaron Clark, Mayor of the City of New York' Bill ----- Original Message ----- From: Mary Thiele Fobian To: nynewyor@rootsweb.com ; WS-GENEAL@comcast.net Sent: Monday, May 21, 2007 11:02 AM Subject: Re: [NYNEWYOR] STAPLES Bill-- Have you located WJ's marriage record? Even if it doesn't name his parents, it may be possible to locate a microfilm newspaper mention of the marriage, and perhaps that would name the parents, as well. Do you know what religion he practiced? Searching the STAPLES surname in church records of that denomination in Westchester county may lead to parents' names. I imagine you already know where he is buried and have checked there for other family members. Mary Thiele Fobian Genealogical & Historical Research Pacific Grove, California
