Has anyone out there know of a wealthy man who was named John Morris Masterson? Apparently an ancestor painted a portrait of him. The ancestor was Scotsman William Hamilton and he was a member of the Nat. Academy of Design from 1833-1841. I do not know how long he lived but I believe that he painted beyond those dates.
