    3. Hi Laura, I have all the other census records, city directories, bcs, dcs and all information AFTER 1859 on this family. I know of his 27 Aug1833 immigration from Scotland and about the g parents, parents and siblings he left behind in Scotland. I do not have his naturalization record but suspect it may be: 8 Nov 1842 naturalization record for William Magee ( NY Co. Common Pleas 39-1) witness: Lemuel D. Beebe. Unfortunately Lemuel D. Beebe is also unavailable in 1850. I could not find a Mackie will at the Brooklyn courthouse. I do not have the 1844 or 1853 bcs for his sons Licurgis Mackie and William Hall Mackie I need to make a connection to the Beebe family which is why I have looked so hard for the 1850 census. Pamela Beebe's parents remain a mystery after 5 + years of searching I know they were in Brooklyn after 1859 because this is where the family settled around Sumner Ave. The Mackie family is in a 16 member plot at the Evergreens cemetery. Thanks for replying. I promise to keep all replies on list so that those that can help me will know where it stands; unfortunately I have not done this in the past. Bill
