Thanks for all the replies, I don't think this is the fellow in PA is correct. In 1860 Westchester, NY and 1870 ( found as Samuel D.Beebe, Detriot) Lemuel is a silversmith, wife Anna., b. England. I'm sorry, I forgot that HQ did not have the 1850 census. I had hoped it would turn up something Ancestry didn't.
