I have a census record for 1860 for my Scherrer gt grandparents- I know she was born in Alsace Lorrain, but on this one, which I think if them, it says- She was born in C N York- does that mean City of New York? That is the only thing I can think of. If this is them, then they had two children that died, that I havn't put in my program- I have been puzzling over it for awhile- their ages are right, they lived in NYC, and he was a blacksmith, but they have his name spelled wrong, which doesn't mean anything. But I want to be sure before I add these two children to my record. Sue
