Diane, I have looked at Mkee, Mkie, Mckee, Mckie, Mack* and also all Andrews and all Williams and all Scots born 1810 +-10 You would also think the name Licurgis or Sicurgis would pick up something using Sic*, Lic*, Suc* and Luc* You would also think that having an older wife born in Vermont or Connecticut would turn up something. This family is just not there 1841-1858 There is one possible William Mackie at 304 Grand? in Brooklyn1850/1851 but I can't pick him up on the census.
