    3. Hi Don, Thanks, I did not know that in reference to the light...and my hubby was Navy. He did 4 yrs. In Korea and then opted out. Still has his sea legs though. Our American Legion Post sponsors a booth at the annual October Fair. They take your old worn flags, gather them and then have a flag disposal ceremony at the hall in November. Four homes on our block have large flag poles in their front yards. One Marine vet flies our flag and a MIA flag for a buddy of his. It's a warming feeling before sunset when these folks come out to lower their flags. I'm thinking ahead 100 or so years when our people will be looking up indices for BMD and see so many "D" for 9-11-0.......Wonder what they will think.
