Can someone find a Social Security # for Paul John Berger born 14 Jun 1910 in Mecklenberg, VA died 16 Jun 1948. I am almost positive his last place of residence was NY,NY. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get military records and they have asked me for more information. He is buried at Long Island Cemetery (which you may already know) U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006 Name:Paul John Berger Service Info.:TEC5 US ARMY WORLD WAR II Birth Date:14 Jun 1910 Death Date:16 Jun 1948 Service Start Date:7 Mar 1942 Interment Date:19 Jun 1948 Cemetery:Long Island National Cemetery Cemetery Address:2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY 11735-1211 Buried At:Section O Site 34760 They could have his SS# on file at the cemetery, but the military didn't really use those numbers until the late sixties and all he may have had was his service number. May have never applied for a SS#. I'll keep looking to see if something comes up.
