In a recent post I suggested going to NARA in DC to examine items from Record Group 110. I was just on the NARA website last night and noticed they are in the process of relocating those records to the various local NARA facilities. These records were closed to the public in DC as of August 11. For those people looking for New Yorkers in the Civil War records in RG 110, they "should" be available at the Northeast Region NARA in Manhattan at the end of December. -- Laura
