Have you tried different spellings of Van Cleft or even just Cleft or Kleft, Etc, etc.? Sometimes you have to get very creative in searching. When you use the non exact part it brings up every kind of spelling. This is the only person I can't find records on. Either they were not on the census, for some reason, or these foreigners who are translating census names for ancestry are making it harder to find things. I send in corrections daily.
